About
Chemistry Crashcourses
The common thread seen in Sec 3 students at EOY is, “Why did I do so badly for Chemistry when I was doing well in Sec 2 or Semester 1?” Some Sec 4s may be shocked when they receive their Mid Year exam papers. “What went wrong?” The problem may be with the understanding of Chemistry foundational topics especially in Chemical Bonding and Acids, or data handling, or it could be a severe gap of misapplication in mole calculations. To help students address the root of conceptual error in Chemistry, and overcome the fear of failing, Chemistry crashcourses are designed to provide a safe, secure environment to help students address pain points, ask and enquire about gaps in the concepts and to obtain a strong command of the subject and build confidence in it.
Tools
Crashcourses Course Outline
Using engaging and interactive lesson plans of powerful lecturing, well-curated Chemistry class exercises, individual performance tasks and engaging Chemistry tuition lesson quizzes, the Chemistry crashcourse lessons are designed to help students address key pain points to help students rebuild confidence in the their weaker topics such as Redox, Electrolysis, Energy Changes or Sec 3 Topics such as Chem Bonding and Mole Concept.
Concise
Chemistry Crashcourses Notes
Concise Chemistry Crashcourse notes and worksheets are keys to helping students grasp concepts quickly. Our Chemistry Crashcourse notes are structured to help students focus on the topical skills they are weaker in, i.e. identifying redox reactions. Through our lucid lecturing style, students would be able to obtain the goal of clearing their Chemistry concepts in no time.
Interactive
Chemistry Crashcourses Learning Tools
Chemistry Crashcourse and holiday lessons are engaging as the lesson plans are structured with the plan in mind to help students regain confidence in their key pain points, i.e. mole concept. Through engaging class quizzes, and participative hand-on practical in crashcourses such as acid bases and salts, students would be able to find that passion in Chemistry again.
Non-judgemental
Chemistry Crashcourses Learning Environment
Chemistry Crashcourse and holiday lessons are designed to help students at all levels, especially the weaker ones get a confidence reboot. Through our teachers’ proactive consultation, and care for students, students would be able to find a safe zone to address their Chemistry concerns and ask questions boldly to clarify their doubts in Chemistry topics which they struggle with. We have seen many success stories in our holiday classes where students are able to find that ‘yes!’ and passion to learn Chemistry afresh and pick it up again.
Skill-based approach to
Chemistry Crashcourses: Learning Step-by-step
Chemistry Crashcourse and holiday lessons are structured with our winning pedagogy on skill-based learning. We help students with foundational concepts in Chemistry, and ground it up with more advanced topical skills to help students learn better through class exercises and more structured analytical exercises in our exam packets. Students would be able to address their concerns and be exposed to Chemistry exam questions to learn to tackle the examinations better.
