Thank you for being such a dedicated teacher, putting in so much effort into compiling questions for our prelim prep series, putting together a chem bible/chem sutra for our easy revision and for answering all queries :). thank you for always being so patient with us and for looking out for us! Even though we don’t always laugh at your jokes and stories, they really make lessons much more fun and interesting. Thank you for spreading your love for chemistry and your guidance has indeed help us improve substantially. We truly enjoy learning chemistry a lot more now 🙂 Hope you had a great Teachers Day! It’s a joy to be your students!!

Thank you so much for dedicating your time and effort to helping me improve my chemistry. I really appreciate how you sacrifice your own personal time for all the extra consultations at night before my exams, and yet you did not ask for anything in return. I am also very grateful and blessed to have a teacher like you who spend lots of time and effort to painstakingly prepare materials and notes to facilitate our learning and the fact that you even bother to go to the east coast just to get chemicals to ensure that we can get more practice for our practical making me feel really, really touched! Thank you so much for constantly giving love and concern to your students and always clearing our doubts online whether you’re busy or not. Your commitment in teaching really inspires me more to work harder for o’s and you’re the first teacher I’ve met that expresses so much joy in teaching. Although our class don’t really or is shy to laugh at your jokes, I hope you know that I really do appreciate your jokes to brighten up the mood! I will continue to improve on my chemistry so that I’ll excel in my upcoming further studies in poly as well. Once again, thank you for being such a bubbly and hardworking teacher!

You’ve always made sure that we got the best and for that, you’ve gone the extra mile, whether that be printing booklet for us, creating lab sessions, making the student portal or even painstakingly compiling the chemistry bible. You have encouraged me to work hard and do well in chemistry not just because of the confidence in chemistry you have instilled in me, but because I have also found interest in the subject.

Thank you for making me believe that chemistry is a fun subject! Even though I’ve always been pretty introverted in the subject, you always go the extra mile to ensure that we have grasped our concepts well, either through Kahoots, case studies or practical(s). The amount of effort you put into your chem bible and notes is extreme! (omg you’re the first teacher I’ve known to give notes in those little binders which are so #satisfying to use).

I am very grateful to you teaching me for the past 2 year. You have made me enjoy chemistry a lot and it is one of the subjects that I have the most interest in. I know you spent a lot of effort making and compiling all the booklets for us and I am very grateful as it is extremely helpful for us. The chem bible was very well done too and it helped me a lot. I just want to say please don’t overwork yourself and rest occasionally ok. I appreciate your effort conducting all the classes for us, and don’t stress yourself too much. Thank you for teaching throughout the past 2 years and I will study hard to repay your effort.

Thank you teaching chemistry. You are one of the most inspiring teachers or people that I have actually met. You taught me to look beyond academics and to develop myself holistically as well. You have helped me very much in chemistry and despite feeling down all the time after getting my results back come on you encouraged me to stand back up, to get back on my feet and to face my next battle. You emphasized the importance of help over results and kept giving me invaluable insights on how to manage and overcome my challenges. You also went the extra mile to give me consults after your lesson after 10 pm. I’m very grateful for how much you have helped me. Thank you so much for walking to my life I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t meet you. You helped me to actually understand what I am learning in chemistry and ensure that I really understood the topics we done.

I am most grateful for the support and care for students you give. Emotional support or small things you do to prevent us from getting overstressed. I’m sure most of these efforts go unseen as they are taken discreetly, yet you do so nevertheless. You truly are a kind-hearted, compassionate teacher, and a role model for those around you. Thank you for being a very patient and dedicated chem tutor. Through your lessons I am able to understand chem better and have even started to appreciate the subject! Also, I appreciate that you always take time to explain the concepts that I don’t understand and that you always encourage us to ask questions no matter how ridiculous or small they may be. Dear Mr Lim, thank you for being the most dedicated tuition teacher I have ever encountered in my life (not kidding)! You are really crazy about chem, and your passion for teaching is really infectious. I don’t think I will ever be able to find any chem teacher who would have a chem bible or infinity moles?!?! You are super good at teaching and my grades really rocked after joining your tuition.
Apart from academics, I find it really cool that you post stories related to chem everywhere you go (in Japan’s beer factory or changing gas tank HAHA), it really shows me that what I am learning in sch has a real life application to the outside world! Thank you for answering all my whatsapp questions, being free for a f2f consultation (and even wanting to pay for our meals) and for sacrificing your gym time for our skype lessons. You are so “wei da” it really inspires me to be someone, as capable and dedicated as you in future.
